Lucky7Bonus announces its Esports team and the completion of a €41 million fundraising campaign

Almost 18 months after a first aborted attempt, the project is finally finalized

In October 2019, Lucky7Bonus was working on the creation of a particular project: creating an Esport team. After several months of searching for a complex, administrative procedures and funding, the global pandemic due to Covid 19 came to slow down the progress considerably.

However, this did not prevent the whole team from working hard to prepare the future, improve relations with investment funds and become immersed in the Esport universe.

These efforts eventually paid off in the first half of 2021. Everyone who contributed to this project can now be proud, after more than a year, Lucky7Bonus finalizes a 41 million euros financing campaign and validates, in parallel, its installation in a brand new Esport complex!

A colossal investment for a lightning expansion

The objective is clear: to become a major point of the international Esport scene. To achieve this, Lucky7Bonus called upon MLZ Venture, one of the largest Asian investment funds, owned by Malaysian billionaire Chen Leng Piow. After several months of discussions and a common vision of an excellent future, MLZ Venture granted its confidence to this ambitious project, with an investment of 41 million euros.

A colossal amount of money, which will accelerate the recruitments already in progress and enable the company to position itself directly in the different markets at the top of the competitive gaming world. Much more than a simple team of a few players on a single game, Lucky7Esport is preparing to represent under its banner more than 70 players, coaches and trainers across several of the most competitive video games. "If we want to compete with the top names in Europe, we're going to need some big names in our rosters, but several negotiations are progressing well. We are confident about the talent that will join the team, the commitment is for the very long term" said Felix.

Lucky7Esport, the future of international Esport

It is the broad vision of the team and its international scope that won over the brands. Indeed, Lucky7Esport is about to enter the Counter Strike, League of Legends, Dota 2, Fifa, Fortnite and Rocket League markets, trying to win the most prestigious competitions organized all over the world.

CS:GO and LoL were obvious to us, but they weren't enough. So it was logical to expand our horizons to other competitions.
